Celebrating Our Stars at the Printing SA Awards

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of our learners who were recognised at the prestigious Printing SA Cape Chamber Annual Dinner held recently on Friday, 08 November 2024. This annual event recognizes and celebrates the regional Top Achievers in their TT3 blocks and brings together Printing SA Members and stakeholders from across the Chamber. It’s an occasion that highlights the excellence and dedication within our industry.

Novus Print was proud to attend this gathering to support and celebrate our talented apprentices, whose hard work and achievements inspire us all.

Here’s a special recognition for our rising stars who have shown remarkable growth, dedication, and commitment to mastering their craft:

Jefta David – Novus Print MG
Jefta began his apprenticeship on 23 March 2021, qualifying as a Sheetfed Lithography Printer earlier this year on 5 March 2024. His dedication and skill were quickly recognized, leading to his appointment as a General Assistant in the press department on 01 April 2024. Jefta regularly steps in as a Sheetfed Lithography Printer, demonstrating his talent and versatility on the job.

Well done, Jefta – you’ve shown what it means to be a true professional!

Celine Riley – Novus Print MG
Celine embarked on her apprenticeship journey on 15 March 2021 and achieved her qualification as an Electronic Pre-press Artisan on 25 January 2024. Celine’s passion for her craft saw her appointed as a Platemaker in the pre-press department, and by 01 September 2024, she had been promoted to Electronic Pre-press Artisan. Her rapid progress and commitment to excellence are an inspiration to us all.

Luqmaan Salie – Novus Print Paarden Eiland
Luqmaan started his apprenticeship on 10 January 2022 and is now in his final year. He is expected to qualify as a Lithography Web Offset Printer (Coldset) by January 2025. Luqmaan’s dedication has already been recognized with a 2024 Top Achiever Award for his outstanding performance in TT3 apprenticeship training with Printing SA.
